We came here for 3 nights with my family and had a lovely stay. We received a good sized twin/double room with a patio upon arrival, which we loved. The location was perfect for our trip. This hotel met our expectations, and I totally recommend it to family and friends.

The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for. The comfortable bedding and luxurious towels made our stay even better. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from.
There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area and we found ourselves a bit bored at times. the weather wasn't great during our stay, so we couldn't take full advantage of the patio.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a amazing room that looked exactly like the photos. The bed was hands down the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while on holiday, and the Egyptian cotton bedding made it even cozier. I had a lovely terrace with a fine view of the surrounding fields, where I even spotted cows and bunnies! The bathroom was spacious with a powerful rain shower, and the fluffy white towels, slippers, and dressing gown made it feel like a luxury spa. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, including a Nespresso machine, and the daily replenishment of water and fresh milk, along with a good chocolate biscuit. Karen and Paul, the owners, were the perfect hosts, always available and ready to assist with any questions. They were polite, hospitable, and professional, and our morning chats during breakfast were a highlight of my stay. Speaking of breakfast, the freshly cooked meals prepared by Karen were delicious. Whether it was the full English breakfast that my husband loved or the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs that I thoroughly enjoyed, there was plenty of choice on the menu. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful stay at Toppesfield House and I can't wait to return in the future.
